What we know so far
Climbing Technology has issued a partial recall for certain production batches of its rope clamp ROLLNLOCK.
The affected batches could have a potential defect which leads to accidental locking of the clamping mechanism. If triggered, this would disable the locking function and release the load/person.
According the the official recall notice, only some of the products have this defect. The website includes an instruction guide and a video on how you can test your device yourself.
