What we know so far
Petzl has issued a complete recall of its SCORPIO EASHOOK via ferrata lanyard.
The potential defect is with the carabiner: According to Petzl there’s a risk that the carbabiner gate stays open and doesn’t close automatically. All production batches of this product type are being recalled, independent of whether the carabiner seems to function normally.

- SCORPIO EASHOOK L060BA00 lanyard
- KIT VIA FERRATA EASHOOK: K029DA00 and K029DA01
Lanyards manufactured and delivered since 2021-01-01 and with serial numbers between 21A 0000000 000 and 21I 9999999 999, are affected.
